Client Brief
The client requested we source an unmodernised flat in The Hyde Park Estate that we believed had inherent value. The aim was to modernise an apartment which could offer a large lateral living space for a family. The design brief was to keep it classical and subdued with an understated elegance. The client wanted us to manage all the legalities, help source finance and process licence applications.
Delivered
Using our expertise we sourced an apartment on the 3rd floor of a quintessential White Stucco Grade II Listed block in the stunning location of Hyde Park Square W2. The apartment was dated and poorly configured which gave us the insight to add value through reconfiguration. The apartment had the potential to offer a stunning lateral space, with wonderful natural light and views over the charming Gloucester Square. It also bordered Hyde Park Square and offered the owner private access to both. We presented the client with the design proposal and they authorised us to negotiate the deal on their behalf.
We wanted the flooring to be the centrepiece and chose a unique floor pattern of a rift and quarter saw of a dark oak with marble chosen from an Italian quarry, handpicked by our team. We designed a bespoke kitchen and handcrafted wardrobes made by Italian artisans. Dedar fabrics and wallpapers were cleverly used to create a truly magical calm oasis. We sourced and furnished the property with antique 1970’s design furniture and maximised the space which significantly increased the property value for the client.
We know the intangibles that separate a good property from a great property. It is widely known there are certain aspects about sourcing the right property for investment growth, however, our expertise and strength lies in understanding the feel of a property and the potential it has to be a great investment.
